Tariffs and Wholesale Pricing for Fall 2025 – USA Only!

We are committed to help ensure the survival of your business and ours!

As of May 12, 2025 tariffs on products imported from China have been lowered to 30% for the next 90 days, with original base duties still in place, making the effective duty rate on snoozies!® branded merchandise 42.5%. Much better than 145% tariff rate 30 days earlier, but still a large number to deal with.

We are committed to keeping our products competitively priced for our retailers and your customers & have taken the following steps to avoid increasing costs for Fall 2025 on almost every snoozies!® styles.

  • snoozies!® will absorb the full 30% of additional new duties, assuming tariffs are not increased further.
  • We will be introducing a new snoozies! web site portal for our retailers in May 2025 that will make your ordering online intuitive, faster & much more efficient. Product images are larger and provide our retailers a much better & true view of snoozies!® products.
  • We will continue to offer customer service & ordering support in-house with trained personnel to assist you as needed. Customer Service representatives may be reach at 252-650-7000, ext. 210 and 209
  • While outside sales reps have been a part of our sales to retailers, we had to examine this cost relative to increasing wholesale pricing, especially in light of 30% additional duties.  Wholesale costs to you could be higher by as much as $1.50/pair when orders are placed with an outside sales rep to cover commissions. While we struggled with this issue, we had to make the hard decision in favor of offering you the lowest wholesale pricing possible.  As such, we have substantially reduced our outside sales representation. 

We hope you can appreciate what our goals are – no increased pricing on 99% of our line with the lowest costs for 2025, enabling you to offer our snoozies! products at 2024 prices while still maintaining your gross margins.

While tariffs may rise and fall, cold feet are here to stay and still need to be kept warm!
